WEA453e has received the highest level of IP67 certification of the electrical equipment enclosure protection standard (IES-529 Standard). This guarantees the correct operation of the AP regardless of the weather conditions. What’s more, the AP is protected against dust and its performance is guaranteed even after being submerged in water for 30 minutes in depths of less than 1 m.
Embedded security features
WEA453e is the first outdoor AP equipped with wireless LAN security features. It provides full protection against WLAN intrusion, detecting an attack within 10 seconds and disabling it within 30 seconds with its embedded WIPS functionality. It received the industry-based ITSCC certification by the Korean Evaluation and Certification Scheme.
WEA453e is light weight (2.6 kg) making its installation very easy. It received a G-Mark Award for its compact and simple design.
The WEA453e 802.11ac is a three spatial stream outdoor access point delivering a data rate of 1.3 Gbps in 5GHz band. The WEA453e provides secure and high speed Wi-Fi connectivity in outdoor environments.
- 802.11ac - 3x3 MIMO
- 1.3 Gbps PHY Rate
- Specially Designed for Outdoor Use
- Secure and Reliable Connectivity
Ideal for Outdoor Use
The WEA453e offers 802.11ac Wi-Fi connectivity, supports dual bands (2.4GHz/5GHz) with 3x3 Multi Input Multi Output (MIMO), delivering a data rate of up to 1.3 Gbps in 5GHz band. Additionally, the WEA453e is IP67 certified, ensuring that the device is dustproof and can withstand water immersion up to one meter for 30 minutes. This makes it resilient through a variety of unpredictable environments.
Samsung APs use Intelligent Beam Selectable Antenna (IBSA) technology to facilitate networks where multiple devices require concurrent access. By optimizing its radio frequency (RF) pattern with a number of physical antennas, coverage is extended, sensitivity is improved, and speed and reliability are uncompromised.
The three-stream WEA453e 802.11ac access point supports more concurrent devices and higher throughput than single- and double-stream APs, making it ideal for high-density environments. It supports the latest 802.11ac ready devices, but is also backwards-compatible to support older 802.11a/b/g/n devices. With three external antennas, the WEA453e has beam-forming capabilities for directional signal transmission.
AirEqualizer, an integrated traffic schedule technology, provides the best service by allocating equal airtime to a large number of devices being used simultaneously. Samsung Access Points offer optimized services and throughput fairness when multiple devices concurrently connect to an AP.
